Angelic healing: My story
A little back story first…
Just over a year ago, a very dear friend of mine – someone who I “met,” in this life on MySpace, but have known many lives over – shared her gift of Angel Light healing with me. She mentored me for a few weeks before actually attuning me to the modality, (a little bit different than typical Reiki and Reiki-style attunements) as I burned a white candle and spoke with her over the phone, from my California bedroom where I could literally hear the ocean through the walls.
As we all know, “life happens” and a few weeks later, my family and I moved from our humble California beach bungalow, to a palatial home in San Antonio, Texas. My husband and I had every intention of carrying on with our healthy and spiritual lifestyles once we were settled, and for a while, we did! Some great things happened for us in San Antonio…he achieved a very well-respected certification in the health and fitness industry, and I became Yoga certified–something I had wanted for a long time. (I also finished up my Clinical Hypnosis and Life Coaching training and certifications.) We both got jobs at the gym we had been working out at, and things seemed to be going okay, in spite of us all desperately missing the ocean. Our daughter became involved in ballet, and we were able to get to know one of my husband’s aunts. Things seemed to be stable…
…it wasn’t long, however, before it became painfully obvious that, in spite of our jobs in the health and fitness industry, we really did NOT “fit in” here. We are earthy, free-spirited, tribal minded people who support human liberties, extended breastfeeding, no (or delayed/selective) vaccinations…we’re opposed to big government, big pharma, big corporations, “The Man,” and the likes. I am a “veganesque” vegetarian, my husband is a pescatarian, and our daughter, who WILL eat “some” meat, will let you know, however, that she very much opposes eating “dead animals.” At four years old, she is opposed, also to leather clothing and furniture.
Long-story-short, trying to fit these square pegs in round holes took its toll on us, and our marriage began to suffer. Our health deteriorated. We slipped away from the few things that truly meant something to us, and basically barricaded ourselves in this large Texas mansion, and vowed to find a way to make it back to “our tribe.” It was during this time that my Angels began to call to me – I was even visited by one. (See here for that particular story.)
They imparted to me the almost desperate desire to know more. So, I started reading all I could about angels and different styles of angel healing and therapies. I knew that this shouldn’t be a difficult task for me, not only as an official “Angel Light” (Thanks to Isla‘s attunement) but also as someone, who as a CHILD spoke incessantly about angels and have been blessed with some amazing spiritual gifts.
Most recently, after doing angel readings for myself and my daughter, I found out some very shocking, (and relevant, yet not surprising) facts about who my particular guardians are, and who hers are.
After the readings, something very amazing happened in our home…my husband and I “jokingly” refer to our daughter as “Fire Starter” for her astounding abilities to manifest, almost instantly, things she wants. We also learned a while back that she is more than likely a full-on Crystal Child, and we suspected Clairvoyant and Telepathic abilities. Since we started working with our angels, her abilities have become even more obvious. We fully believe this is her spiritual gift, and we intend to foster it.
I won’t say that ALL is perfect in our home right now. We are still, very much, unhappy with our current location, but are working faithfully on our spirituality, and marriage. I am pleased to say, that we have indeed, rekindled the flame that drew us together in the first place, and that we have also started counseling with Sunyata Satchitananda, an amazing healer, himself.
Whenever I start to feel doubt, or concern, or apprehension…I now know, that I am not alone, no matter how alone I might feel. My angels have always been with me, and always will be. YOURS are, too.

Test Project: Do YOU want Life Coaching? Now is Your Chance!
Since I am relatively new to the Life Coaching profession, I have decided to kick the Fall season off with a month of services, for those who want / need them and don’t want to pay an exorbitant hourly fee.
(Some coaches charge upwards of $100.00/hour!)
I can’t say that I won’t, someday, charge that, for certain coaching services, but for now, while I am new and looking for feedback, I am offering my services for much, much less.
Starting Monday September 26, (and ending Monday October 31) you can receive select coaching services from me for DONATIONS ONLY*! Whatever you CAN pay or feel you SHOULD pay, well, that’s what you pay!
This will entitle you to the following:
Electronic communications/support from me (via FaceBook, Twitter &/or email) a minimum of 4x/week. We will check in with each other, and I will provide support, motivation, advice and “homework” to you during these communications.
I will also make myself available for up to two (15-20 minute) phone calls with you, for person-to-person contact, and customized relaxation/visualization sessions.
For those who donate* $25.00+ I will offer Text Messaging support in addition to the above. :-) For $50.00+ I will add up to two more phone calls (once weekly) to your coaching “package.”
At the end of the month, I will email you a questionnaire about the service you received from me, which will benefit me greatly as I grow into the coach I wish to become…so, as you can see, this “special” will be beneficial to YOU as well as ME.

So, what does “Live Beyond” mean, exactly?
We’ll get to that…but first, an introduction!
Hello, World!
Welcome to my very first official web presence as a Certified Life Coach. Yes, I am one of those…it seems that “Life Coach” is a trendy term these days that gets thrown out by people who read a few books, take an online course or two and fancy themselves good at giving advice.
Let me be the first to admit here, however, that I, too, took an online course to get this certification, but I didn’t do it to be trendy. I have wanted this “title,” since I first heard it. And studying online seemed to be the best way to go about earning it, as I am a full-time mother (who will be homeschooling this fall) and am always in the midst of one too many time consuming projects. (What can I say? It keeps me out of trouble!)
Long-story-short, I recently earned my certification…like, very recently.
Two days ago to be exact…
…and I wanted to act on this and make my web presence known just as soon as I had a moment that could be devoted to blogging and blatant “self promotion.” I also needed to come up with a name for my Life Coaching services, and have spent the last 48 hours mulling over various ideas, with “Live Beyond” always remaining in the lead.
I liked it because it could be used as the start to SO MANY different ideas…Live Beyond your limits, your fears, your dreams, etc., etc. It just seemed to work for me, so, voila! Here it is! And here I am. And as a Life Coach, here are some areas in which I feel qualified to help others:
~ Spirituality – This is a BIG one for me. It seems that since I was a very young girl, friends have come to me for spiritual guidance. I have been studying matters of spirituality since I was a child, and as a little girl, could see auras. I just thought that’s how life looked. It wasn’t until I was older, and lost the ability to see auras, that I realized how special that was.
As an adult, I have worked extensively on my own spiritual gifts which makes the act of helping others with theirs, much easier. (Obviously.)
In addition, I am a Reiki practitioner and Angel Light healer and “specialize” in Chakra work, and…auras! Of course. :-)
~ Maternity and Family Planning – One of my biggest passions is childbirth education. When I was expecting my second child in 2007, my husband and I took a HypnoBirthing® class. It was life changing. My daughter was born under the most amazing conditions, with four midwives in attendance, belly dance music playing in the background, and absolutely zero medical intervention or medications.
After that, I knew that I needed to become a HypnoBirthing® educator. When my daughter was just four months old, I took my training and earned my certification. My work as HypnoBirthing® Certified Educator inspired me to take further training in doula work and in clinical hypnosis. As a Life Coach I love the idea of assisting parents with their birth plans, as well as helping families transition from their current situations to having one more family member “along for the ride.”
~ Girl Power – Every lady has an inner Sex-Kitten that is dying to get out. (Oh, yes I went there!) I have MANY, many reasons as to why this subject is important to me…and I will get into them at a later date…until then, consider me your Sex-Kitten coach and get ready to unleash your inner Goddess!
So, there it is, for now. My debut as one of those trendy Life Coaches…I’m the girl who will read your aura, help you when you are pregnant, and help you connect with your inner Porn Star.
And of course, there is more to me than that. But this is a blog, which means that there is always, more to come…
